If A Blog Falls in the Forest and Nobody Reads it . . .March 24th, 2005My first blog created quite a storm. And by that I mean that two-and-a-half people read it. Hi Mom. Part of me wonders how anyone might find my website. I Asked Jeeves where to find Jennifer Anne Kogler’s Website and he took me to the Internation Association for the Study of Pain (where I learned that even a place like Bangledesh has a local Pain chapter). I guess I have no other option but to keep after it, however humble my blog audience. As a matter of fact, I did receive a few pointed comments about Jennie’s Blog Version 1.0. So, I’ll indulge my small (though I prefer the word “cultish”) audience with the totally annoying blog device commonly referred to as the “Self-Serving & Totally Annoying Personal Shout Out”. Basically, my friend Olivia (Happy Birthday Olivia!) offered to send me some more oatmeal pouches, my friend Kristy questioned “aren’t blogs supposed to be interesting?”, my dad told me it was “cute”, then asked what “bliggity” meant. And my friend Brad told me he could write a funnier blog than me while simultaneously riding a unicycle, chewing gum and juggling bowling pins with his eyes closed. Not exactly in those words, but you get the picture. Maybe I’ll let him write the next one, the jerk. Oh, and on the meal front, this morning I decided to simplify things by cutting out the less-delicious part of my breakfast and just had a mound of brown sugar. That and, of course, my book tour dates are up, if you’re interested. Am I getting better? |
