Harvest Park

April 12th, 2008

Hello again.

It’s me. I just returned from Pleasanton, CA and let me tell you, Harvest Park Middle School is now one of my favorites. I may have had my best teleportation volunteer to date. Cody, who informed me that he was already an experienced teleporter, wanted to go to Taiwan. He was more clever than I was and by the end of his two minutes on stage, he was running the show.

Harvest Park also happened to have the best-catching librarian I’ve come across. Ms. Black made a one-armed stab when I threw an eyeball at her — most impressive (of course she’s a catcher on the team’s softball team, so she’s had some practice). Many thanks to her for inviting me and hanging out with me all day! It was a pleasure (and Pleasanton sure lives up to the name).

I better go study some Constitutional Law now.  Oh!  A few more totals for those of you keeping track at home.

Students Talked to:  3,295
Number of Appearances: 17
Number of Schools: 7

Successful teleports:  Depends on the day
